Growing up in one of the highest villages in Scotland, Ross followed his enduring love for medical science by exploring new heights in optometry. Currently completing a doctorate in vision sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University, with a focus on diabetic eye disease, he also supervises final-year optometry students. Next ambition is to become an independent prescribing optometrist with, further qualifications in medical retina at Moorfields in London. Ross was drawn to the Melrose practice because of it’s clinical reputation and latest diagnostic imaging
